Welcome!
We are the development team for the video game “Astro Fighters”, AstroTeam. We are made up by 4 students of the course CC5408: Video Game Design and Development Workshop of the University of Chile:

What is Astro Fighters?
“Astro Fighters” is a video game in development which will consist of a 3D local multiplayer fighting game that will take place in outer space, which means an environment with zero gravity.
The characters will be two astronauts that will have full liberty of moving in any direction of the map, they will have to kill their opponent by damaging their helmet with close combat attacks. The winner of the duel will be the one who is still alive.
For the development of the camera we used the video game “dragon ball z: budokai tenkaichi” as a base, specifically for the local multiplayer system that this game has.
Current updates
For the time being we are still in the initial stages of development, defining the key aspects of the video game and ensuring a clear vision for it, is of vital importance to our team since we understand that laying a solid foundation is essential for the success of this project.
Our following objectives
During the next few days we are looking forward to establishing our first build of the game by showing off our basic mechanics of how it works. Our objective is to establish the zero gravity dynamic to observe the physics of the game and also work on the third-person perspective of the camera.
